Returns and Exchanges
If you are not satisfied with your purchase, it may be returned within 14 days following the steps outlined below. We will issue a complete refund to the same credit card it was purchased on, less the original shipping costs. In the case of items received as gift, a store credit will be issued. We do not accept returns after 14 days from receipt of purchase.
Steps for returning your merchandise:
Please contact us at info@lumierekids.ca and let us know your order number and the items you would like to return. We will issue you a return authorization number (RA number) that is to be placed on the outside of your shipping packaging. Items must be received back to our location within 10 days of receiving your RA number. Please include a copy of your invoice sent to you at the time of purchase, and ship the item(s) to the following address:

. Personalized items are FINAL sale, we cannot accept returns on merchandise which has been personalized.

Privacy policy
Lumière Kids Inc. promises not to sell or to distribute any of your personal information, including your email address, to any third party. The one and absolutely only exception being the secure forwarding of customers’ credit card information to our credit card processing centre for the purposes of completing requested transactions.
This website operates with a dedicated Secure Socket Layer (SSL) certificate issued by the Comodo Group,
a standard security technology for encrypting confidential information between a web server and a browser.
Encrypting information before it is passed along the web’s pathways is the most effective way to ensure that
all data remains private and secure. The highest levels of encryption are used.
Gifts and Gift certificates:
Lumiere makes gift giving online easy. Simply enter a gift note during the checkout process which will be
added to the package. A packing slip will be included with the shipped items, but prices will be omitted.
Another option is to send a gift certificate available in 6 denominations and can be applied to multiple online
purchases until their value is used up.
Taxes:
Canadian tax:
Canadian tax rates are set according to the shipping destination. For instance if you live in Ontario but are
sending a package to Saskatchewan, you will be charged 5% GST + Saskatchewan’s 5% PST. You will not
be charged Ontario’s 8% PST.
Taxes are calculated automatically during checkout based on the shipping destination specified.
US Taxes:
Taxes are not charged on goods that are shipped outside of Canada. Any import duties and customs charges
are the responsability of the purchaser.
Shipping /Pick-up:
Canada shipping:
We will send your order via Canada Post at a flat rate of $7 from Toronto, Ontario. It could take up to 8 days, for those requiring a faster service, please contact us before placing you order.
US Shipping:
We will send your order via Canada Post / US Post at a flat rate of $14 from Toronto, Ontario. It takes between 8 to 10 days. If you need a faster service please contact us before placing your order.
In person pick up:
For those in Toronto, you have the option to pick up your order at the studio located at
220 Riverdale Avenue. This choice can be selected during checkout from the “other shipping options” menu.
Please make an appointment via email or phone (416-406-5757) before coming to pick up your order.
Order fulfillment
We will keep in touch with you via e-mail throughout the order process to let you know the status of your order. You will receive an e-mail when you place your order, an additional email when your order has been processed and a final email when it has been shipped. If you have created an account with us, you can also check the status of your order online by following the “ My Account” link.
In most cases, orders will be shipped within 3-4 business days. Please note that personalized items may take
additional time.
